The New Sunday Missals ( The order of the mass for Sundays) are now on sale for £20 from the Repository at the back of the church.

There will be a second collection this weekend on the 25th & 26th January, 2025 for World
Leprosy Day.
CRIB OFFERINGS (BCCS) COLLECTION ON 2nd FEBRUARY, 2025
There will be a collection after all the masses.
COFFEE & CAKE SALE- 9th FEBRUARY, 2025
‘7th Epping Forest Beavers, Cubs & Scouts will be hosting a tea, coffee & cake sale in the church hall after both morning masses on Sunday 9th February. Please do come along and enjoy some delicious homemade cakes and support our forthcoming international camp to Belgium in July 2025!
We are also collecting unwanted Euros – if you have a handful of change leftover from holidays then we would welcome the donation!’

NOTE FOR OUR CONTEMPORARY MUSIC GROUP
We will next be singing and playing at the 11am Mass on Sunday, 2nd February and having a rehearsal beforehand 7 to 8pm on Thursday, 30th January (please note the change from our usual Monday rehearsal).
We hope to see many of you at the rehearsal as well as the Mass as we’d like to practice the psalm and hymns before the Sunday.
We’d also like to extend a warm welcome to any new singers or musicians who may like to join our friendly group – simply come along!
BAPTISMS
If there are parents wishing to have their children baptised at St. Edmund of Canterbury please could you kindly contact your parish priest Fr Adrian Lowe as soon as possible. For first time parents there is a Baptismal Programme run by Mrs Sharon Chalk. Baptisms take place on Saturdays at 12.30pm

COMMUNITY OF OUR LADY OF WALSINGHAM – HOUSE APPEAL
In honour of the Presentation of the Lord on 2nd February – the World day of Prayer for Consecrated Life – could you help a new, growing, religious community? BRENTWOOD CATHOLIC CHILDREN’S SOCIETY (BCCS)
is delighted to host a Shrove Tuesday Afternoon Tea at the Roslin Beach Hotel in Southend-on-Sea on Tuesday 4th March 2025. Guests are kindly invited to arrive for 1pm to be greeted and seated in good time for tea between 1.30 and 3.30pm. This event is open to all and promises to be a lovely afternoon celebration.
