Many thanks for your prayers, kind messages and cards during my time of sick leave. I have returned to parish work this weekend on ‘light duties’ for a while.

MISSO COFFEE MORNING
There will be a MISSO coffee morning this weekend( 1st December, 2024) after both 9:00am & 11:00am masses. Please can boxholders bring your boxes to be emptied on the day and give to Catherine Daly. Please support and enjoy the coffee, tea & cake.
WORLD YOUTH SUNDAY- NOTE FROM BRENTWOOD DIOCESE
A huge Thank you to everyone who was able to support our World Youth Sunday appeal last weekend. We have already heard lots of positive feedback from young people, families and parishioners which really is a fantastic reflection on the youth of our Diocese.
CHRISTMAS NATIVITY
We are starting rehearsals for our wonderful Christmas Nativity which takes place at the 5pm Christmas Eve Mass. The rehearsal dates will be the 1st (this date will be used to assign the parts) 8th, 15th and 22nd December straight after 11am Mass. These generally will last no longer than 30 minutes. If your child would like a part in the Nativity please come along to our first rehearsal date on the 1st December 2024. PARISH PRO LIFE GROUP MEETING

AN EVENING OF RECONCILIATION
An evening of Reconciliation is at Immaculate Conception Church in Epping on Tuesday 10th December at 7:30pm. A number of priests will be available to hear confessions.
WINTER COAT COLLECTION -THANK YOU TO ALL OUR PARISHIONER’S
Dear Parishoner’s I wanted to drop a note to say a huge “thank you” for all the coats that were collected. In total, our parishioners donated 92 coats which is a massive achievement. To know that we will keep 92 people that bit warmer this Winter is such a success.

ASSISTED SUICIDE PETITION
Dear Parishoner’s Many thanks to the 117 people who recently took the took the time to sign the petition opposing the Assisted Suicide Bill. These petitions were presented to Neil Hudson, MP.

BAPTISMS
If there are parents wishing to have their children baptised at St. Edmund of Canterbury please could you kindly contact your parish priest Fr Adrian Lowe as soon as possible. For first time parents there is a Baptismal Programme run by Mrs Sharon Chalk. Baptisms take place on Saturdays at 12.30pm

The box for food donations is now tucked away in the parent and baby room (to the left as you enter the church).Thank you very much for making donations, they are greatly needed at the moment.
