ST THOMAS OF CANTERBURY SUMMER CONCERT

 This year is on 28th June, 7.45pm. The evening is a mixture of orchestral and choral music that includes Bach (Double Concerto), Parry (I Was Glad), Vaughan Williams (Fantasia on Theme of Thomas Tallis), Karl Jenkin’s Adiemus, Elegy for Dunkirk and the amazing Libertango. There will be a retiring collection for The Lourdes charity, “Across Paths”.

BRENTWOOD CATHOLIC YOUTH SERVICE – MONTHLY YOUTH MASS

On Thursday 5th June, Youth Mass will be held at Brentwood Cathedral, with a workshop looking at the key themes of Pentecost, and how we live out discipleship in the modern world. Join us in the Brentwood Cathedral Parish Hall from 6pm for Pizza, refreshments and workshop, followed by Youth Mass in the Cathedral from 7:30pm. There is no need to book and no cost for this – please feel very welcome to come along and simply find out more about the BCYS and what they offer!

The Holy Land, will be visiting us on the weekend 7th – 8th June to briefly talk about the Holy Land and sell religious articles made out of Olive Wood to help and support the poor Christian families, any help you could give to them will be highly appreciated” (when you help the poor you help our Lord”).

SION COMMUNITY CHARISMATIC TEACHING WEEKEND

PA to the Dean- Brentwood Cathedral

A vacancy has arisen for a PA, to provide administrative support services to the Parish Priest and Parish Office by implementing and maintaining office systems, processes and procedures and delivering a welcoming, appropriate service to those attending the parish office. The successful applicant will need to have excellent communication and administration skills.

The post will be full-time working 35 hours per week- Monday to Friday

The salary is £14- £15 per hour depending on experience
