THE BETHLEHEM NATIVITY GROUP- TBNG

Religious items from the holy land will be available to buy after all Masses this weekend. Why not have a look at the beautifully carved statues and crosses.

A missionary from Bethlehem, will be visiting us this weekend to talk about the Holy Land and sell religious articles made out of Olive Wood to help and support the poor Christian families, any help you could give to them will be highly appreciated” (when you help the poor you help our Lord”).  

CONFESSIONAL

The confessional in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel will be undergoing some work over the next few weeks to make it fully compliant with Health and Safety, and to make it a more attractive and prayerful space for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

ST THOMAS OF CANTERBURY SUMMER CONCERT

This year the concert is on 28th June, 7.45pm. The evening is a mixture of orchestral and choral music that includes Bach (Double Concerto), Parry (I Was Glad), Vaughan Williams (Fantasia on Theme of Thomas Tallis), Karl Jenkin’s Adiemus, Elegy for Dunkirk and the amazing Libertango. The soloist is the wonderful Caitlin Downie. For tickets, £15/£13 each, please contact St Thomas’s Parish Office, 02085041686. There will be a retiring collection for The Lourdes charity, “Across Paths”.

Parishioners please can I urge you  write to our MP, Neil Hudson asking him to vote against 2 dangerous amendments that if passed will allow abortion up to birth. Please collect a template letter at the back of the Church and send to your MP. Thank you. Paul Molloy

PA to the Dean- Brentwood Cathedral

A vacancy has arisen for a PA, to provide administrative support services to the Parish Priest and Parish Office by implementing and maintaining office systems, processes and procedures and delivering a welcoming, appropriate service to those attending the parish office. The 

successful applicant will need to have excellent communication and administration skills.

The post will be full-time working 35 hours per week- Monday to Friday

The salary is £14- £15 per hour depending on experience
