Weekday Masses this week are celebrated on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 9:30 and on Friday at 9am.
WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY
The annual week of prayer for Christian Unity began on Saturday 18 January and lasts until Saturday 25 January. Please pray especially during this time that all Christian denominations will be one. On Sunday 19th January, Saint John’s Anglican Church are having Evensong at 6pm, Father Adrian is preaching at this, and everyone is warmly invited. PAX CHRISTI-WORLD PEACE DAY 19th JANUARY, 2025
There will be a second collection today after the masses for Pax Christi- World Peace Day.
REPOSITORY- JANUARY SALE
All Christmas repository items will be 50% discounted on price this weekend after all the masses.There are some lovely items available including some beautiful lit stables and figures. Cash only at the moment but we are hoping this will change in the future.
WORLD LEPROSY DAY 25th & 26th JANUARY, 2025
There will be a second collection the weekend of the 25th & 26th January, 2025 for World Leprosy Day.
COFFEE & CAKE SALE- 9th FEBRUARY, 2025
‘7th Epping Forest Beavers, Cubs & Scouts will be hosting a tea, coffee & cake sale in the church hall after both morning masses on Sunday 9th February. Please do come along and enjoy some delicious homemade cakes and support our forthcoming international camp to Belgium in July 2025!
We are also collecting unwanted Euros – if you have a handful of change leftover from holidays then we would welcome the donation!’

NOTE FOR OUR CONTEMPORARY MUSIC GROUP
We will next be singing and playing at the 11am Mass on Sunday, 2nd February and having a rehearsal beforehand 7 to 8pm on Thursday, 30th January (please note the change from our usual Monday rehearsal).
We hope to see many of you at the rehearsal as well as the Mass as we’d like to practice the psalm and hymns before the Sunday.
We’d also like to extend a warm welcome to any new singers or musicians who may like to join our friendly group – simply come along!

In honour of the Presentation of the Lord on 2nd February – the World day of Prayer for Consecrated Life – could you help a new, growing, religious community?
