LENT -Stations of the Cross and Lenten Lunch Friday 20th March 12:15pm
Stations of the Cross is followed by a Lenten soup lunch provided by our parish St. Vincent de Paul group. Come along to pray at 12:15pm in the church and then join us for soup and fellowship in the church hall. Please sign up for soup after the masses this weekend.
All donations on the day will go to towards the work of our SVP.

Lent Prayer Activity on Monday 16th March 2026 at 7:00pm-1 hour
A Prayer Session led by John Fitzmaurice using the Ignatian Examen prayer and Ignatian meditation to explore our lives and how God is speaking to us. Please join us in the upstairs retreat room in the church hall on March 16th at 7:00pm for 1 hour.
Antoniazzi Amendment
The vote on the abortion to birth clause known as the Antoniazzi Amendment is scheduled for this Wednesday, 18 March in the House of Lords. There are twenty-three Church of England Bishops, known as the Lords Spiritual, who currently sit in the House of Lords. Please consider writing to them and asking them to vote against the passing of this bill. 40 Hours Devotion
40 hours of Continuous Eucharistic Adoration during Lent (night and day except during Mass) will take place on the weekend of 21-22 March at St John Vianney Catholic Church,
1 Stoneleigh Road, Clayhall, Ilford IG5 0HE, starting with Mass of Exposition and Procession of the Blessed Sacrament at 7am on the Saturday and ending with Benediction at 11pm on the Sunday. All are very welcome to take part in this very special devotion.
SVP and CAFOD Work Experience
The St Vincent de Paul Society and CAFOD are working together to offer a week of free residential work experience for 20 young adults in England and Wales. The experience will run from 21st – 26th June in London. Candidates must be aged 18-25 years old, but priority will be given to those in their first or second year at university.
